    Digital Marketing Coordinator (*2)

    Start Date: June 30, 2025 (30 hours per week, total of 9 weeks, $17.20 / hr)

    Overview:

    As a Digital Marketing Coordinator you will be supporting our communications, outreach, and engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a passion for community building, digital strategy, and brand storytelling.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, WeChat, etc.)

    • Design and distribute newsletters, event promotions, and member communications

    • Maintain and update website content (e.g., news, events, job board)

    • Assist in the creation of marketing materials (digital and print) for programs, webinars, and events 

    • Track analytics and generate reports on marketing campaign effectiveness

    • Coordinate marketing timelines and ensure brand consistency

    • Shoot and edit photo, poster and video clips

    Qualifications:

    • Be between 15-30 years of age, at the start of the position.

    • Be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or someone to whom Refugee Status has been granted/conferred. 

    • Have a valid SIN and be legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.

    • Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in a related field such as business and commerce, finance, community development, sociology, data science, or communications.

    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

    • Proficiency with social media platforms including LinkedIn, WeChat, WildAprocot, etc. 

    • Previous experience in community organizing, event planning, or volunteer coordination is a plus. 

    • Bilingualism (English/Chinese) is an asset

    Duration:

    This is a full-time, paid Summer Job position lasting for 9 weeks, ending August 30, 2025
