Overview:
As a Digital Marketing Coordinator and Content Creator Summer Intern, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our organization's online presence and content marketing efforts. You will work closely with our marketing team to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, create engaging content for various digital platforms, and analyze performance metrics. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, and analytics in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing Campaigns:
- Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and website.
- Collaborate with team members to develop campaign strategies, content calendars, and creative assets.
- Monitor campaign performance and analyze key metrics to optimize results and achieve marketing goals.
Content Creation:
- Create compelling and engaging content for digital platforms, including social media posts, blog articles, infographics, and videos.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop content ideas that resonate with our target audience.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, messaging, and marketing objectives.
Social Media Management:
- Manage and maintain our organization's presence on social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Schedule and publish content, engage with followers, and monitor social media conversations and trends.
- Assist in growing our social media following and increasing engagement through strategic initiatives.
Email Marketing:
- Support the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns, including drafting email copy, designing templates, and segmenting email lists.
- Monitor email performance metrics, such as open rates and click-through rates, and make recommendations for improvement.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Collect and analyze data related to digital marketing campaigns, website traffic, and social media performance using analytics tools.
- Prepare regular reports summarizing key findings, insights, and recommendations for optimization.
Qualifications:
- at least 15 years of age at the start of employment;
- a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act* and;
- legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial / territorial legislation and regulations
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
- Knowledge of digital marketing principles, including social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp).
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiasm for digital marketing trends and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and strategies.
Duration:
This is a full-time, paid internship position lasting for : 8 weeks, starting from 29th, April, 2024; 35 hours per week
