Speaker: Mr. John Reilly, Head of RBC’s Global Markets Equity Execution Services Group.

Cost: $10 paid at the door to cover the lunch and the facility.

Speaker Biography and Introduction of the Speech:

John Reilly has over 25 years experience in the North American Capital Markets. He currently heads up RBC's Global Markets Equity Execution Services Group. John is Managing Director in RBC Capital Markets Global Equity Division; Head, Canadian Equity Trading, Proprietary Canadian Market Making, and RBC Investment's Retail Agency Trading. During John's career he was a Managing Director of State Street Brokerage Services and Co-Founder & CEO of E*Trade Canada. John has a business degree from Wilfred Laurier University.

John will be speaking on the fundamental structural changes that are taking place to the Canadian Exchange Market.  He will be discussing the success of the Alpha marketplace and how Canadian investors can now expect more liquid markets with the advent of multiple markets. John will also discuss career opportunity and career path in the Equity Trading area.
