As an Asian professional in Western society, we were told that our career advancement would become stagnant once we have reached the so-called Glass Ceiling. To continue to climb up the corporate ladder and join the top echelons in C-Suite seemed impossible.  This myth is especially true for oriental females.

Please join CCFA on November 27, 2009 to meet with Ms. Yu JIN, CIO and Corporate Vice President of Information Systems and Technology, Four Seasons Hotels and Resort (“Four Seasons”) . Ms. Yu Jin will be delighted to share her experience with us. The seminar will be an open discussion format with topics including but not limited to:
•   Career advancement for Chinese women
•   Experience and insights as being an executive
•   Career advice and lessons
•   Work and family life balance
•   Q&A etc.

As the CIO of Four Seasons, Ms. JIN, with a total number of 250 IT professionals under her management, oversees the strategic direction of all computing and communications technology functions associated with IT applications and the development of new IT initiatives to align with the business strategy company-wide on global basis.  Ms. JIN has a Master degree in Library and Information Studies from McGill University and completed her Executive MBA program offered jointly by Kellogg Business School of Northwestern University in Chicago, USA and Schulich School of Business of York University in Toronto, Canada.  She is married with two kids currently.
